Padmavat clashes with Padman

One of the most awaited films "Padmavat" has finally got Censor Board Certificate and will be releasing soon. There have been buzz that "Padmavat" will be clashing with Akshay Kumar's "Padman". Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer "Padmavat" was supposed to release on December 1, 2017 but due to the controversy over it's plot, the film was facing a lot of troubles.

Akshay's "Padman" is going to bang the theatres on January 25. And sources say that "Padmavat" may also release on the same day. Though Viacom 18 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are yet to announce the date of release of "Padmavat". The film was initially named as "Padmavati" but because of the controversy, Censor Board has suggested to change the name to "Padmavat".

When superstar Akshay Kumar was asked about the clash with "Padmavat", he said, "It is not about competition, it is a very big day, a big week, so all the films can come. Both the films can release on that day. Every film has the right to release whenever they (makers) want, and I am happy for them.
