Rotary Club of Bombay West began its journey on 22nd April, 1954.. the first baby club of Rotary Club of Bombay which was then celebrating its silver jubilee. Since then, Rotary Club of Bombay West has been rendering selfless, dedicated and committed service to the cause of humanity through its extremely successful projects in various avenues of service including medical assistance, vocational enhancement, caring for differently abled, literacy, rural development , environment and women empowerment. Affiliated to Rotary International’s District 3141, the Club has established Rotary Service Public Charitable Trust, a charitable organization with its own corpus to fund the Club’s community service projects. The Club is considered as one of the prestigious Clubs of Dist.3141, having won several accolades from the District as well as Rotary International for touching numerous lives through its pioneering community projects over the years. The Club, it true tradition of the Rotary Spirit, fathered seven Rotary Clubs in suburbs of Mumbai, thus contributing in spreading the rotary movement in the metropolis.
