Ok, so here we have somethig to talk about (read NOT). Student of the year version 2 has broken all records, infact nosedived miserably to launch Ananya Panday, Tara sutaria and ofcourse the ever debutanting Tiger Shroff. Viewers have a hard time understanding if he is still trying to debut with his every new movie.

The same old cliched college trophy winning logic conceptualised only to look (ULTRA) glamourous without any studies in the background for students desperately trying to become the student of the year. This time it came with a twist when script writer decided to being in Kabaddi as part of the college annual competition. Perhaps the movie makers wanted to dedicate some time promoting the rural which is still to catch up in Pro Kabbaddi league.

Tiger Shroff coming from a lesser known college wants to win over his chilhood love Ananya, trips on the wrong foot of Tara and story gets some base to drag it further. Everything in the movie has been deliberately made to look too good to believe but films can make such colleges a reality. The film  is just not able to carry it thorugh since the logic is missing in whole set up. The challenge for the coveted trphy is loosely planned and least to mention the acting skills of any of its protagonists who miserably try to remain in the movie and sadly even they had to stay to take it to a finish.

None of the reviewers tried to justify the film making or glamourise it even though it was a big budget film backed by a big banner. All in all, attempt and efforts were ennergised in wrong direction and audiences were left in despair who gave it a thumsup opening. Hope there will not be a third annual competion for version 3.0 of this fanchise.
