Congratulations! Soha-Kunal blessed with a little angle

Bollywood couple, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu are on could nine. The much in love couple became proud parents to a baby girl on the auspicious occasion of Mahanavmi on Friday.

The newly turned father, Kunal Khemu shared his happiness via Twitter and wrote, “We are over the moon to share we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this auspicious day Thank you for the love and blessings.”

After seeing each other for many years, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu decided to tie the knot in 2015, this is their first child. Earlier, Kunal had shared the good news of Soha’s pregnancy to the world in a sweet yet witty tweet,  Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year — our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes.”

The fans of the couple showered them with congratulatory messages and blessings. The B-Townies’ also expressed their happiness and wished the couple in their happy time. Bollywood’s Desi girl, Priyanka Chopra was among the first few to congratulate the duo. She wrote, “Congratulations @kunalkemmu and @sakpataudi this is amazing news! Much love and joy to you and your family”

Sometime ago, Soha had shared her views on her journey from “womanhood to motherhood’ and also about how Kunal’s support and love made it all then more easy. She was quoted saying, “Kunal and I have been together for nine years now. We feel very blessed and we’re ready for this phase in our life. But I have not felt alone at all. I have my family and Kunal’s family with me. Kunal has been a wonderful partner throughout, and this phase can be overwhelming for the mother-to-be and the father. He has taken care of me very well.”

She elucidated, “My mom [Sharmila Tagore] and mom-in-law have a lot to teach me. They have all seen and brought up so many children themselves. It’s like being on a film set. People ask me what’s my mother’s advice to me and she’s always said that in a film also, when it comes to acting, there’s one director and even on a journey like this [pregnancy], it’s very important firstly to consult with your doctor and not get confused by too much advice.”

Hearty Congratulations to the couple from welcoming the little angel in their life. What a timing, isn’t it? Being blessed with a an adorable bundle of happiness during Mahanavmi, looks like goddess Durga as herself stepped into the duo’s life.
